Oh how I have missed the soft sanity and calming tones of the classical style of music.

I am listening to Canon in D Major. My absolute favorite work.


I know its a rather popular piece and for some elitests, not a very original choice for a favorite but...well to quote a famous movie line. "Quite frankly my dear, I dont give a damn."

Something about this track speaks to my very soul and makes the world around me disolve into nothingness leaving me only in the serenity that is musicial genious.

Its rather sad that in this day and age such beauty has fallen out of favor in the name of "heavy metal" and "gangsta rap."

Dont get me wronge, I love Cradle of Filth and I am known to listen to some DMX and Eminem on occasion but they pale in comparison to these works.


We as an american society like to believe we are at the pinnicle of social and technological development when we look back at days gone by.

Ironicly the very same society that claims to be "civilized" is the same one that uses words like honor and duty as punch lines to jokes rather than a way of life.

Its a society that will send a man to death for murdering another man who is fully capable of defending themselves yet we have made it perfectly legal to destroy the life of a human being at their absolutly most vulnerable stage, when they are still in the womb.

This same society runs rampant with social intolerance, cruelty, selfishness, special interests, and plain old fashioned hate.

We have a government that is trying to make religious beliefes federal and state laws thus reducing certain people to seconde class citizens.

We have the patriot act which is the first step towards a militarist empire.

We have the history channel yet no one learns anything.

Every major republic in recorded history ended as an empire. They all started with elections and senates and ended with emperors and military rule. Why would this or any other nation be so diffrent?

The people of every nation and every government are so complaicent and so paranoid that they will gladly surrender personal freedoms in the name of saftey and security. The sad part is most of them would not even realise it during the very process of doing so.

The human race as a whole is completely and utterly stupid. As Einstein once said. (not an exact quote i am sure but here we go).

"Two things in the universe are infinite. Time and human stupidity and I am not so sure about time."


I sit here and watched an amendment here in Texas pass basicly banning all possible gay marriage rights permenatly. This is added to the state constitution and ensures that unless there is a major change in the attitude of the average population of the state then these groups are basicly told they are inferior people and thus unworthy of equality on any level. Its not as if gay marriage was ever ACTUALY legal in the state by any means, this is just basicly a gigantic slap in the face to said groups as well as a legalized version of oppression and bigotry.

Well congratulations. Congratulations on your no prize didnt win anything victory. You have changed absolutly nothing but instead reaffirmed my beliefe that the human race, as a whole, is completely without redemption or a single shread of compassion for their fellow man.

Today the citizens of the state of Texas stood together and said "You are diffrent and thus do not deserve equality."

One nation under bigotry with justice only for the faithfull. Were all men are created equal only if they are a christian.
